Dr. Agata Majewski
Optometrist

 

Dr. Agata Majewski received her undergraduate degree from her home town University of Western Ontario in 2002, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2007. Following graduation she spent some time practicing in one of her favourite cities-Chicago, Illinois where she fell in love with the idea of living within a small neighbourhood inside a big, bustling city life.

Upon returning to Canada, Dr. Majewski spent the last few years working along some wonderful doctors in the city, all while having a dream of opening her own practice where her patients would also be her neighbours and friends. Roncesvalles is just the right area, and Dr. Majewski couldn’t be happier to call it her home.

Dr. Majewski is a member of the College of Optometrist of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. She continues to stay up to date on the latest in eye health and technology by attending continuing education seminars both in Canada and the U.S. Dr. Majewski is particularly passionate about children’s vision and is looking forward to providing eye exams to children in kindergarten through the EyeSeeEyeLearn Program coming to Toronto this summer.

Our staff

Madeline Monaco has been with Owl Optometry since 2014. She has a love of funky glasses (especially if they are pink). She has a great eye for helping people select the most attractive frame to flatter their face. Madeline is completing her Opticianry diploma at Seneca College. Her long term goal is to be just like Dr. Majewski and obtain her Doctor of Optometry. Until then she stays busy doing crafts – many of which end up in our window display!

Roxanne Owl Optometry Staff

Roxanne is the most recent addition to the Owl Team. A proud, longstanding resident of Parkdale and Roncesvalles Village, she brings to the practice a love of people, community, style and being healthy. With an undergrad in psychology and in fitness, aviation and hospitality, she’s super excited to be dawning on a new career in eye care and looks forward to sharing this knowledge.
When Roxanne isn’t helping you see the world better, she’s zipping through the Toronto streets on her lime green vintage cruiser, doing yoga, taking photos, ferociously concocting delicious eats, reading or relishing in an afternoon procrasti-nap with her little feline friend Zinc.
